Gold Vermeil/2-Micron gold Not to be confused with regular gold plating, Vermeil is a much thicker layer of gold which gives the pieces their long-lasting colour. We use 18k gold/14k gold layered on sterling silver which also can be referred to as 2-micron plating. 2-micron gold is referred to heavy gold plating. Long lasting plating, the quality is exceptional. |
